A few things you should know about our farm before you
visit.

1. We are family owned and operated. We value
our family and encourage you to value yours! We ask that children be closely
supervised during your visit. There is a swing set and trampoline on site. We
appreciate parents/guardians ensuring their children’s safety.

2. U-Pick Lavender Experience

Come join us for a relaxing day of lavender picking! For
just a $5 entry fee (under 10 years old are free and do not include a free
lavender bundle), you’ll get access to our beautiful lavender fields, where you
can hand-pick your very own bundle of fresh lavender to take home.

What’s Included:

$5 entry fee – which includes your own lavender bundle.

Scissors & Instructions – We’ll provide you with everything you need to harvest
your lavender with care, plus step-by-step guidance on how to make the
most of your harvest.

Whether you're using it for crafting, cooking, or just
enjoying its lovely fragrance, it's the perfect way to spend some time in
nature. Check in and out at the onsite store.

Don't forget to bring your camera – the fields are
breathtaking and make for some amazing photo ops!

3. There are bees and pets on the farm.

Bees are very important to our lavender and our earth. They are
not aggressive and if left alone, they will leave you alone. Please do not hurt
the bees and let them do their jobs.

We have a dog, many cats, free range chickens and a pet pig
on site. They are a part of our family. Please let the animals come to you.
Please do not feed them or chase them.

4. We're a Working Lavender Farm

Like all farms, we dance to the rhythm of nature—and nature doesn’t always
follow a schedule. While we do our best to estimate when our lavender will be
in full, fragrant bloom, the truth is: Mother Nature has the final say. Weather
shifts, unexpected cold snaps, soggy springs, and the occasional mischievous
mole or vole can all affect the bloom and the beauty of the fields.

Because of this, U-pick and photography dates may shift
depending on what the season brings. We want every visitor to have a beautiful
experience, but please know the timing and appearance of the lavender can vary
year by year.

All the photos on our website are real—taken right here on
the farm—but keep in mind they may not reflect the exact look of the fields on
the day you visit. Lavender is a slow and steady grower, taking up to three
years to reach its full glory. So as much as we’d love to, we can’t speed up
the process.

Thanks for understanding—this is nature’s show, and we’re
just lucky to be part of it.

5. Food and drinks.

You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks—pack a
picnic, grab a blanket, and settle in for a relaxing time! While we don’t
provide supplies or extras, we offer beautiful scenery and open space for you
to enjoy. We just ask that you clean up after yourself and take any trash with
you when you leave.

6. When is the best time to visit?

Our lavender fields will be in bloom from June to
August. Please stay updated on our Facebook and Instagram pages with specific days
and times open.

 7. Can I take pictures at your farm?

Absolutely! Capture the beauty of your visit and don’t forget to share your
favorite moments on Instagram and Facebook using #lolaylarlavender.

You're welcome to take photos during our regular open
hours—just keep in mind that other guests may be around, so privacy isn’t
guaranteed. If you’re hoping for a quieter, more private photo session outside
of open hours, feel free to email or message us. We’ll do our best to
accommodate your request.

Please note: we don’t have designated changing areas, but
there will be a port-a-potty available on site during the season.

 8. Where do I park?

Simply turn into the driveway and follow it down! Our designated parking
area is clearly marked and located at the bottom of the driveway, on your left,
in a spacious field.

9. What to Bring:

Our farm’s terrain is wonderfully natural, but please note
that it can be uneven in some areas. For your safety and comfort, we recommend
wearing sturdy shoes and taking care as you explore. To improve drainage, our
lavender rows are planted on a gentle incline, which adds to the beauty but can
be tricky in places.

If you have any concerns about balance or mobility, feel
free to enjoy the front portion of the fields where the terrain is more level.

Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, and any other
personal items to ensure a comfortable visit. We want you to relax, enjoy, and
take in the beauty of the lavender!

10. Can I book a reservation for a private event on your
farm?

You’re welcome to reach out via messenger or email with any
requests, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Please keep in mind that as a
family farm, both Lee and Betsy also work full-time jobs. While we strive to
say yes whenever possible, there may be times when we need to decline.
We truly appreciate your understanding!
